Let us find you your next career opportunity by sending your resume today or calling us at one of our branches.Job Description• Inspect raw packaging materials for performance and quality, examining closely for defects and imperfections per SOP.• Test raw packaging materials for performance and quality, examining closely for defects and imperfections per SOP.• Inspect packaging during production process for performance per SOP.• Inspect finished packages prior to shipment for quality.• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to during all inspections.• Prepare and ship product samples.• Perform all other duties as directed.QualificationsRequirements: • Quality Control experience preferably in food or pharmaceuticals industry desired. • Plastics background highly desired. • Able to read and write the English language proficiently. Bilingual desired. • Able to use trade specific measuring devices. • Self motivated, works with minimal supervision. • Able to perform Quality Lead or Technicians duties during absences. • Attention to detail. • Strong organization skills. • Punctuality and hard working. • Good communication skills with others. • Computer skills desired. • Able to stand, stoop or bend for long periods of time. • Able to work in a cold, loud environment for long periods of time. • Able to work various shifts as needed. • Able to work overtime when needed. • Able to lift 50lbs.
